A shopping idea for Father's Day from the Canvas People OR Vista Prints

Canvas People Father's Day Deals! Click HERE to get a GREAT print for your dad or special loved one. (mine is going to be for another family member)

I ordered an 8 X 10 Canvas portrait for my Mother-In-Law for Mother's Day (check my freebies page for this deal, it's still available!) and she LOVED the portrait of her 3 children as adults. The portrait was FREE w/ $14.95 P/H & came with a $50/off coupon on my next purchase. I'm going to see if I can use the coupon in conjunction w/ this deal which will mean I can get an 18 X 16 portrait for FREE or 2 8 X 10s w/ paying just P/H. I definitely will order MORE of these as long as the deals keep coming....I'll update you to see if it works! Happy Shopping for Father's Day...I will let you know if there are other deals coming on this page.

Unadvertised CVS Special--Good til June!!!

Please make sure to scroll down to the middle of THIS PAGE and press the "follow" button on the right side of the page! Thank you!! Alicia

Unadvertised Frito-Lay Deal makes single serve bags FREE!

This is an unadvertised deal that I've seen on several blogs, but needed to check it out myself. In fact, it's REAL! Purchase an single-serve Frito-Lay brand bags (3/$1) and you'll receive 1 ECB. From what I see, you can purchase 15 bags total for $5 and then get 5 ECBs----this means FREE!!! Another unadvertised special is that you can purchase single-serve peanuts & sunflower seeds for 3/$1.50 & get 1 ECB...this means all 3 for $.50!!! I have no idea how many times you can redeem this deal (often once you've reached the max of 5, that's all your Extra Savings Card will allow, but sometimes it allows these unadvertised specials more than once). My kids will be gobbling these things can't keep enough junk food in the house for them, and the best thing is, NO STALE CHIPS b/c they'll eat them 1 (or 3) at a time! Supposedly, this deal will go on until June, so I'll keep you updated if it works again.

There are SO MANY FREEBIES this week that I'll be posting throughout the week. Last week was a slow 1 because there were no coupons, so frequently the stores don't do extra deals. Another REALLY GREAT DEAL that seems to be unadvertised is re: OTC medications at Rite Aid. It's called the "Weekend Warrior" deal, and when you purchase $25 worth of the OTC meds on the list, you'll receive $10 in Register Rewards (RRs). SEVERAL of the ones you can choose from, you receive Register Rewards for already, and MOST of them have you'll either get them for pennies on the dollar, FREE, or they'll be a MONEY MAKER! The information for these will be under my Rite Aid blog. One thing I KNOW is included, is the new Tylenol Precise, and if you're interested in this one, you may want to wait until next week to get the RRs. They'll be on sale for $5, I will have a link to a $5 coupon (you can print 5 of these) AND you'll get the RRs, so it will be a $10 MONEY MAKER to purchase 5 Tylenol Precise Patches (but again, this won't be until May 8th)!!!!

Check back tomorrow for a list of ALL of my FREEBIES, Samples, and Deals for the week. Since this week Tops will double $1/off coupons w/ the coupon doubler in the flier for each shopping trip, you may want to make several trips to Tops because there are GREAT DEALS where you can get many things for free or next to nothing!

Happy Shopping!!!

This week I have found you SO MANY MONEY MAKERS at our local drugstores! Check out Walgreens & Rite Aid posts on the Weekly Deals Page to make some money just by buying products you either use or can donate to your church, doctor's office, or Women's Shelter. Happy Shopping!!

I'm re-posting the Melting Pot Freebie because it's time for "National Fondue Day" & reservations are necessary between April 11th-14th! Enjoy for me, PLEASE!

This is a freebie for my ALL TIME FAVORITE RESTAURANT! The Melting Pot is offering a FREE cheese fondue when you make reservations during April 11th-April 14th in honor of "National Fondue Day" on April 11th. It says that there is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY, but that reservations are required and limited. I'd jump all over this one because the Melting Pot is a bit pricey, but, what a way to start an evening and bread, fruit, and veggies dipped in that ooey-gooey cheese is ENOUGH to fill you up if you're on your way to the movies or something! So, even if you can't afford the MEAL at the Melting Pot, enjoy a free (filling) appetizer and remember to tip your server WELL if that's all you're getting. Enjoy!!!!

I have installed the Swag Bucks toolbar on both of my computers and use it each time I search. You earn "Swag Bucks" which can turn into gift cards, merchandise, or e-certificates. Tonight I turned in my points for gift cards (you can use as many as you like to purchase items at and I bought A LOT at Christmas time) and 2 restaurant gift certificates to give to relatives who live far away. Click on the link below to install your own swag bucks bar or just to sign up for a swag bucks account. You can earn these swag bucks other ways, and I will fill you in when there are special "swag codes" to earn you extra points. Click on the link or picture to sign up:
(By the way, I've earned 107 "Swag Bucks" since I wrote this about 8 hours ago, just for searching and taking the poll, I've DONE NOTHING ELSE WITH THE SITE AT ALL...not sure why it went that high, but it did! You only need 460 to earn a $5 Amazon gift card!)

I also shop on-line using E-bates WHENEVER I CAN! They have daily doubles where you earn extra points, all you have to do is shop! Then, a percentage of what you spend is put into your E-bates account, and a check is sent to you or you can choose a pay pal option. It's like getting "cash back" for your purchases, or a rebate that you don't have to send in a proof-of-purchase for. E-bates also has coupons for their merchants that you can't find anywhere example is that I did not pay S/H one time for Christmas, and since I'm in a wheelchair, E-bates and the internet is the only way I COULD Christmas shop (and unlike most, I didn't have to wait in line!!) Click on the link below to sign up for your E-bates, too is FREE! As soon as you sign up, you get a $5 bonus to start your account that is available as soon as you shop for the first time. I shop at Sierra Trading Post, Old Navy, HSN, Target, Kmart, The Body Shop, Toys-R-Us, Elizabeth Arden, LL Bean, Eddie Bauer, Barnes and Noble, JoAnn Fabrics, Macy's and more... That's just to give you an example that you can find stores to shop at too! An added bonus is that if you refer 50 friends, you win an iPad! There are other incentives for referring friends that include  in your account and earning prizes until the middle of April, so, what are you waiting for!?! Click on this link/button to sign up, did I mention it's free?

Another great way to EARN money (in this case Kmart gift cards) with little or no effort on your part is to transfer up to 5 prescriptions to your local Kmart pharmacy. For each prescription transferred from now until 4/30/11, you earn a $20 gift card as long as the cost of the prescription (either out of pocket, cost of co-pay, or cost of insurance coverage plus co-pay) is more than $20, you get the gift card. I've got to say that I'm definitely NOT ADVOCATING that you drop your trusted pharmacist or pharmacy just to save/earn money. It's a great idea to have all of your prescriptions at the same pharmacy to avoid possible harmful drug interactions, but this is a year where we've had to make some tough choices re: money and specifically prescription costs. I have a lifelong chronic illness that requires that I take many hundreds of dollars of medications (in co-pays) per month, and I had to leave a "mom and pop" type pharmacy that I loved to move to a pharmacy that has been great, but where there are different pharmacists on duty all of the time so I could get 90-day supplies of medications for the same price I was paying for a $30 day supply. This is a money saving option you might want to consider, especially if you have the need to just pick up a 1-time script like an antibiotic, or you're on monthly sinus medications and it doesn't really matter where you get those from. The application was on the back of this week's flier, it can be picked up at hte Kmart pharmacy counter, or found on-line. In addition, there is an altruistic benefit, because for each prescription transferred, Kmart will donate $25 to the March of Dimes. If you aren't happy with Kmart pharmacy for some reason (I myself have never used them), you can simply get your prescription at your old pharmacy the following month.
